Horror

What are your favorite horror flicks of the new millenium?
Halloween is right around the corner and you know what that means… horror movie month! I pledge to watch a horror movie every day this October and I invite you to do the same. My question for all you fright fans is what are your favorite horror flicks of this new millenium? Don’t spare the gory details!
The Eye was awesome.
One Missed Call
Shutter
The Ring
The Grudge
Mirrors
Boogeyman (Just the first one, the second one sucked and did not follow the storyline at all)
The Exorcism of Emily Rose
Darkness Falls
Donnie Dark (Classic and simply amazing)
Amityville (Okay, kind of slow paced for me)
30 Days of Nights (Again okay, but not one of the best)
The Lost Boys (Another classic, but the second one did NOT compare at all)
Silent Hill (Excellent)
Secret Window
Resident Evil (Although if you are a RE game player the movies will piss you off)
Christina’s House
Scream
Disturbia
Halloween
I Am Legend
Carrie
The Labyrinth
Van Helsing
The Underworld
Wrong Turn
House of Wax (Not my type of scary movie, I thought it was lame but a lot of people seemed to enjoy it)
Sweeney Todd (Absolutely loved it)
Evil Dead I & II & Army of Darkness (The first on was such a horrible attempt to be scary it was funny, so they made a joke out of the sequels. It would be considered a horror comedy but it would be appropriate to watch and they are good)
There are so many more. Just can’t name them all. Seen way too many.
And note that some of these may not be particularly scary, but more so appropriate for Halloween.
